PARENTAL CO-OPERATION

1. ‘’CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME’’.

2. The best of the school training is seriously crippled, if the parents do not play their positive role.

3. The parents of St. Robert’s High School have English Section entrusted the school with bringing to maturity the seeds of manhood/womanhood that have been so carefully sown at home.

4. St. Robert’s School is a family (a second home for the children) and so we expect total and dedicated involvement of the parents.

5. Total involvement calls for real understanding of the school’s philosophy parents should strive to be living examples of the values taught to and expected of their children.

6. Keep the Principal/Vice Principal and the concerned teachers informed for any kind of special problems, family circumstances or other relevant facts that are necessary for a proper understanding and guidance of their children.

7. We expect full co-operation with every teacher and participating in the development of St. Robert’s family.

8. To attain total harmony between the school and the home.

9. Parents are earnestly requested to see that their children prepare their lessons and also take an active interest in the activities of the school.

10. Parents are informed through occasional reports and recommendations from the Principal/Section In-charge and the teachers in the diary of contact report. They are requested to sign them as a proof they have read.

11. Parents should take steps in time, against causes that impede the progress of the child. Progress Reports in relation to student’s conduct and progress will be handed over to the parents/guardians during the Parent-Teacher meeting after each term. The Progress Report should be signed by the parents.

12. Parents/Guardians are allowed to see their children during the school hours. In case of EMERGENCY, they should meet the Principal or the Section In-Charge only.

13. Negative/wrong/non-conductive publicity cause by any student/parent can lead to dismissal of the student.

14. All communications to the school should be addressed to the Principal.

15. Parents are requested to insist on neatness and cleanliness of the child’s text books, exercise books and personal appearance.

16. A record of the address of Parents/Guardians as given in the data slip and diary is maintained in the school office and any change in the above must be communicated to the office in writing without delay.

18. We at St. Robert’s encourage frequent communication between teachers and parents about studies, conduct and behavior of students.

20. Parents and guardians wishing to meet the teacher can do so before and after class or during the interval with prior appointment with the teacher concerned or with special permission of the Principal.

21. The good example of parents is of vital importance. The school will be able to do very little for students, whose parents give bad example (through dishonesty, insincerity, bad language etc.) Or teach something contrary to what is being taught at the school.

22. Please do not approach the teachers for any help at their residence.

23. Parents should send tiffin.
