School House System
The four Houses of our school i.e Akash, Prithvi, Nag and Agni are named after Missiles of India, as a student can be regarded as a self propelled guided missile which propels towards its target with full speed. The colours assigned to each houses represent the four elements of nature. They bring the students face-to-face with the arena and inculcate in them the spirit of constructive competition among the four Houses.
Akash
"The Sky" signifies vastness; Vyom symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom and confidence. Blue colour represents Communication, Peace & Calm, Honesty, Authority, Religion and Wisdom. "Blue color is everlastingly appointed by deities to be a source of delight."
Prithvi
"The Earth", is the most powerful of all the elements. It is the source of stability. We must also care and respect our earth, our pride and life. Earth symbolizes nature i.e. green colour and the green enhances and sustains life for all, it fulfills our needs and cares for us as a mother. It signifies growth, harmony, hope, renewal, health, environment and prosperity.
Nag
The freshness and lightness of Vaayu is depicted by yellow colour. Yellow colour represents Mind and Intellect, Happiness and Fun as well as Communication of New Ideas. Being the lightest hue of the spectrum, yellow is uplifting and illuminating, offering hope, happiness, cheerfulness and fun. The colour yellow inspires original thought and inquisitiveness. The colour yellow is always ready to accept a challenge.
Agni
"Fire" is meant to purify our souls by destroying the evilness. It’s a good source of energy, transformation, strength, intelligence, enthusiasm, courage, confidence and inspiration. Agni symbolizes the level of energy so as the Red colour. It works as a shield which protects us from tears and anxiety and stimulates energy. Thus, enhancing our confidence level, it marks warmth, togetherness and compassion.
CLUBS & COUNCIL
For the smooth functioning of the School and the Co-curricular Activities, St.Robert’s High School promotes Student-Teacher co-ordination at various levels and initiatives have been taken in the form of clubs and at individual levels turn wise every year as below :
